The 6th generation with this LAUREL called the C33 had been introduced in December 1988 and was a well known high-class saloon with a pillar-less 4-door HT human body. In January 1991 leading mask grille area, end light form,and other elements were refreshed to evolve the model while preserving the traditional elements before it progressed on belated period model. The power device,the heart regarding the car,was changed from C32 V6 motor towards the RB20 Series stright 6, together with top grade model was built with the RB20DET ceramic turbo with intercooler generate a fresh luxury car in step with times.
