The ZSL-92 IFV variant has a team of three (driver, commander, and gunner) and carries nine infantry soldiers in its troop compartment. The key armament is a ZPT90 25mm automatic cannon installed on a one-man turret. The cannon has the full 360 traverse with an elevation of -8 ~ 55. Additional tool is a coaxial 7.62mm Type 86 device weapon with 1,000 rounds. A four-barrel 76mm smoke grenade launcher is fitted on either side of turret. Recently a greater variation associated with ZSL92 IFV has been spotted. This variation is armed with a 30mm cannon turret.
