  Yasen class submarine (Russian "ash tree"), also referred to as the Severodvinsk course, is a fresh Russian nuclear multipurpose assault submarine course. The submarine is based on the Akula-class submarine and also the Alfa-class submarines and therefore are projected to restore Russia's older Soviet-era course attack submarines both Akula course and Oscar course.
  
• Construction on very first submarine started on December 21, 1993. In April 2010 it had been stated that the 7 May launch for the very first motorboat was postponed due to 'Technical Reasons'.On June 15 the initial submarine had been rolled from its building hallway. Plans necessitate the submarine to be in solution by belated 2010 or early 2011.
