C-130J HERCULES

While it maintains the familiar lines for the Hercules, a typical sight inside globes skies for many years now, the C-130J has been extensively re-designed. The most noticeable modification lies in the application of two 4700 HP Rolls-Royce (Allison) AE2100D3 machines, with six-blade composite-material propellers that ensure silent running and low gas consumption. High end features include a great rate of climb and an extended array of action because of the newest machines. An equally important development is the avionics: the cockpit, actually, comes with new electronic instruments and a Head-Up Display that delivers the pilot with a constant stream of data without him needing to look far from the cockpit window. The C-130J is steadily becoming the conventional transportation aircraft in a lot of NATO nations, Italy included.
