The origins regarding the growth of the Harrier family date back to 1957; the very first samples of the show, of the GR.1 variation entered into solution with the RAF 12 years later on. Numerous improvements including an up-rated Pegasus motor and a laser tracker mounted in lengthened nose generated the creation of the GR.3 version, that has been regarded as being the greatest growth of the initial generation Harrier. The GR.3 Harriers saw successful service throughout the Falklands war
