Immediately after the next World War, the American company Republic, started focusing on a brand new turbo-jet fighter-bomber. F.84 Thunderjet originated on an easy but effective design with a big front atmosphere consumption, straight wings and a robust tricycle landing gear. As a result of the General Electric / Allison J35 turbo-jet motor, F-84 Thunderjet was able to reach 1,000 Km / h. It had been armed with six 12.7 mm machine guns and it could carry an offensive load of almost 900 kg. The F-84G, entered manufacturing in 1951, is amongst the latest versions associated with the Republic fighter-bomber. In addition to the USAF it had been utilized by numerous NATO countries, including a few fighter-bomber squadrons of Italian Aeronautica Militare, prior to the Mutual Defense Assistance Act.
