The Super Sabre was one of the first supersonic airplanes to enter service with the U.S. Air Force through the fifties. Together with the single-seat version a double-seat variation was created to facilitate the change and training of pilots of this brand new aircraft. The F-version was characterized for the extensive fuselage to accomodate the second cockpit but had similar fundamental features since the solitary seater.
