The powerful Sd.Kfz. 186 “Jagdtiger” was built onto the elongated hull of the Tiger II heavy tank within the latter phases for the 2nd World War. Inside its mighty casemate ended up being the 128 mm PaK 44 cannon, armed with shells that may pierce the armour of all of the opposing enemy tanks. This self-propelled ‘tank buster’ was deployed effectively and lethally against perhaps the lately introduced Soviet hefty tanks such as the IS-2. The Jagdtiger had a massive fat of nearly 76 tons. The big cannon and heavy armour whilst effective, couldn't outweigh poor people manoeuvrability and low speeds associated with vehicle in battle. The significant fat affected its reliability, and manufacturing volumes were also restricted. But the Jagdtiger for its offensive capability alone, ranks once the high point of German manufacturing of self-propelled tank destroyers during World War 2.
