C-130J HERCULES

While it maintains the familiar lines associated with the Hercules, a typical sight in the globes skies for decades now, the C-130J was extensively re-designed. The many visible change lies in the usage of two 4700 HP Rolls-Royce (Allison) AE2100D3 machines, with six-blade composite-material propellers that ensure silent operating and low gas consumption. Powerful features consist of a fantastic price of climb and a long range of action thanks to the new machines. An equally important development is the avionics: the cockpit, actually, has new electronic instruments and a Head-Up Display providing you with the pilot with a constant blast of information without him having to look far from the cockpit window. The C-130J is steadily becoming the conventional transportation aircraft in a lot of NATO countries, Italy included.
