A-4 E/F/G SKYHAWK
The A-4 owes its origins to a desire expressed by the US Navy for a replacement for the A-1 Skyraider. The engineering design genius Ed Heinemann created a super lightweight and easy airplane that has been pushed into service on American aircraft providers in 1956. The E (which 499 were made) and F (of which 147 were made) express the initial real upgrade in airplanes, with an even more potent motor, two extra mooring towers for cargo (for a complete of five) and enhanced avionics. These people were utilized extensively, along with very good results, during Americas war in Vietnam.
