MB 326K Impala
The Macchi MB-326 was developed during the 50s and has now been conceived as a two-seat trainer to equip the Italian Air Force. MB-326 was powered by an English Bristol Siddley Viper non-afterburning turbojet engine with low air-intakes within the wing origins. Thanks to the potency of the style, It quickly obtained a commercial success and it had been offered in over ten nations. Down the road, a single-seat ground attack aircraft was developed starting from the Italian trainer. The Macchi MB-326K, the armed variation powered with a higher performance turbojet engine, was able to carry significantly more than 1800 kg. of unpleasant tools in its under wing difficult points including bombs, rocket launchers and guns in committed pods. The MB-326K ended up being also produced under licence by the South African business Atlas Aircraft Corporation aided by the project title “Impala”.
