The 2mm coated aluminum spacer fits underneath the differential and slots/keys into the framework. You may want to place 2 on top of eachother to create 4mm spacer. The design is made such means your 2 spacers also freeze place. With respect to the plates use you may have to additionally space out of the back stiffener. Increasing the rollcenter will move the differential greater too, producing more grip and steering, but less an easy task to drive.
