The chassis dish has been CNC-machined from very rigid american 7075 T6 5mm aerospace-quality aluminium and sports a broad front side opening to modify the front anti-roll club.
A cooling slot underneath the motor helps help temperature control while chamfered edges avoid the chassis from getting on kerbs giving it better general ground clearance regarding track. It houses the battery power, that will be installed in to the newly-designed carbon fibre battery mounting plate and is held in position by four screws, screwed straight into the framework plate itself.
This new 966 plate has additionally been machined to accept the optional front stiffener dish.
