The upgrade-set includes the key items to transform a Serpent 960-08 towards the 966 variation.
The chassisplate, all rear-end alu and carbon components together with the brake-system will be the main elements. A complete group of over 170 quality steel allen screws for the whole automobile and a number of newly required bearings may also be included. The update can be utilized with either OS1 or OS2 type back suspension parts.

Chassis-plate
966 chassisplate made of american aerospace quality aluminium 7075 T6. Precison CNC machined with chamfered sides to stop touching whenever cornering, countersunk holes to seat the metal allen screws, shaped air conditioning pocket underneath the motor, positioning holes the engine-mount screws, positioning holes the metal pins to carry the alu rear end brackets, recessed area for the carbon fiber battery-plate, and a recessed area to match the optional brass front side dish for stiffness and weight and/or carbon fibre insert for extra stiffness. Braking System
Lower mounted brake-assembly for reduced LCG. Spring-loaded brake-plates slides on polished metal shafts. Ready-to-run brake plate/pads installation with brand new friction brake product. The ball-raced difficult anodized brake-cam push the 2 bigger pins which are seated inside aluminium bracket, up against the brakeplat, generate extremely smooth and even pressure to the plate.
2-speed shaft
CNC machined anodized aluminium 2-speed shaft brackets, offer perfect seating for the bearings. Lets and right side support the ball-raced back anti-roll club and 2-speed shaft. Left part also support the carbon fibre side bracket and so the the correct one.
Main back brackets
Anodized, cnc machined, aluminum primary rear axle supports with coated alu eccenters; more rigid, better rear axle help for a tremendously true operating backside shaft, effortless belt-tensioning, easy access for maintenance. Because of the eccenters you can select 3 positions for rear- gear tensioning. By removing the eccenter on one side the trunk shaft with pulley and gear could be accessed quickly. Principal back supports are machined maximum to reduced fat, but retain rigidness in addition. Pins are pre-pressed into the bottom of the brackets which then seat into the positioning holes into the framework. Precise and protected.
