Legend: Evolved 1998 was a year to keep in mind in motorcycling as Yamaha circulated initial YZF-R1; developed to deliver thrilling speed on winding roadways, it proved a very popular bicycle. In 2015 the latest YZF-R1 model premiered, made with an evolved concept that will ensure it is an even more circuit-oriented bicycle. The range includes the YZF-R1M, which benefits from Yamaha's considerable MotoGP experience. It gets probably the most out of its 200hp 998cc 4-cylinder motor, with a class-leading electronics package to guide the driver. A data logger and correspondence Control device (CCU) record lap times and program information, while carbon dietary fiber human body cowls further boost performance. The long-running Tamiya 1/12 Motorcycle Series now welcomes this extremely refined motorcycle into its stable of subjects.
