The Popular 1980&39;s Race Replica
Making its debut in 1980 at Earls Court Motor Show, the Honda CB1100R was established as a production base race model. From 1976 and the following four years, Honda dominated European endurance races because of the "unbeatable" RCB utilizing the CB900F as the base. The 1062cc air cooled inline 4 cylinder DOHC16 valve motor boasted different tuning setups and pumped out 115hp. It arrived on double cradle type frame with front air shocks and adjustable back shocks with coil springs and a book tank. Only 1,000 of limited version CB1100R which had a premier speed over 220km/h were initially produced, but manufacturing was proceeded to meet up the massive need. In 1982, 1,500 CB1100R(C) devices were released with complete fairings and ventilated disc brake system with another 1,500 CB1100R(D) devices featuring angled swing hands and adjustable shocks being released in 1983.
