This model kit in 1/20 scale recreates the Toyota Celica LB Turbo Gr. 5 (originally offered as Item 20009 in 1978; perhaps not motorized now) with brand new Cartograf decals, brand new slick tires, and instructions. The Toyota Celica LB Turbo had been friends 5 car developed the 1977 DRM (German rushing Championship). In relation to the street car Celica Liftback, the automobile featured aerodynamic components particularly bulging over fenders and rear wing and employed numerous FRP human body panels. An extensively modified body and 2,090cc, 560hp inline-4 DOHC turbo motor were used for its racing endeavors. This vehicle made its debut in July 1977, plus in October of the identical year, it overcome the Porsche 935 and attained its maiden triumph.
