Flashy Design Suits Rossi&39;s Style.

The unstoppable Valentino Rossi took a great 9 victories from 16 races in 2003, clinching the name of 2003 MotoGP World Champion. Known for his flamboyant performances on and off the track, he gained extra attention at Valencia, the final race regarding the 2003 period, as he arrived on the scene on a fancy RC211V embellished in a 1970&39;s motif. The design had been the winner of a competition held by a motorcycle mag, which had invited its visitors to develop a paint scheme for Rossi&39;s bike. The Valencia bike also showcased a triple-exit exhaust design with silencers removed, which Honda had utilized from mid-season. Rossi displayed perfect riding in Valencia, using pole place and holding the lead for the entire last half of the race. Valencia would be to be Rossi&39;s final ride regarding Honda RC211V, with him transferring to Yamaha the 2004 season.
