2006 Green Machine
After an absence of 20 years, Kawasaki returned to MotoGP as a works group in 2003 using their first race bicycle with a 4-stroke engine, the ZX-RR. The 2003 rushing season proved hard, but 2004 saw the arrival of Japanese rider Shinya Nakano and plenty of development progress had been made. The 2006 model came loaded with attention catching cowlings and a newly designed inline 4 cylinder 990cc engine bursting with power. Within French GP, Kawasaki battled for pole place thanks to group rider Shinya Nakano&39;s superb work. Nakano on Dutch GP, won a podium finish together with his 2nd placing that will be Kawasakis most useful ever complete. In joining the most effective journey GP competition, the Kawasaki ZX-RR has shown its great potential.
