Ace Akamatsu&39;s Private Mount

Japanese Navy ace Sadaaki Akamatsu had been understood for their numerous combat exploits and a 1/48 scale representation of his aircraft was added to Tamiya&39;s Masterwork Collection line-up. An intensive study of a genuine aircraft means the A6M5a&39;s distinctive features have already been accurately reproduced. This finished model features the markings of this aircraft which Akamatsu travelled to intercept United states naval aircraft on February seventeenth, 1945.
