Taking on the Porsche 935
In line with the Toyota Celica Lift straight back 2000GT, the Celica LB Turbo Gr.5 was made to comply with the Group 5 race category rules. A 2,090cc 560hp motor powered the lightweight machine plus it defeated Porsche&39;s 935 Turbos to seize a remarkable triumph at Round 4 Belgium through the 1977 German DRM season. Tamiya&39;s R/C model regarding the Toyota Celica LB Turbo Gr.5 faithfully reproduces the car&39;s long-nose, short-deck type with polycarbonate, while the rear wing, back wing plates, and headlight parts are individually molded for improved realism. Included markings allow depiction of automobile No.68.
