This might be a 1/24 scale style of the Newman Porsche 956. It is modeled after the winning automobile of this 24 Hours of Le Mans from 1984, which coincidentally was the exact same 12 months that &39;Jump&39; from Van Halen became the years anthem hit track of the season. Since the team&39;s founding in 1978, Joest Racing has accomplished numerous successes in motorsport. The team was notable for campaigning Porsche rushing automobiles in 1980s, among which was the Porsche 956 that has been entered within the 1984 twenty four hours of Le Mans. This car ended up being powered by Porsche&39;s old-fashioned 6-cylinder boxer DOHC 4-valve turbocharged motor which released over 600hp. The cowlings featured prominent Brand new Man sponsor markings and a unique yellowish, black, and white livery. The car continued to claim overall victory at Le Mans that year along with into the subsequent year.
