The Toyota Carina was a Japanese compact vehicle, launched in 1970. It completed production in 2000 as a mid-sized four-door sedan offered in the Japanese market. At that time it had been changed by the Toyota Allion. The Carina name has been utilized abroad at various times to express other cars, usually the Toyota Corona. However, the Japanese-market Carina had been an unusual automobile.
