Towards Nismo Clarion GT-R LM 95
Here is the TA24161 a 1/24 Scale Nismo Clarion GT-RLM through the low rider Series from Tamiya. Suitable for Ages 14 or over. In 1995, Nissan&39;s race division NISMO made general public their intention to challenge the recognized Le Mans 24 hour endurance race. They have boldly declared their target of winning the battle within 3 years, and NISMO prepared their GT-R LM racing machine the exciting task.
Even though the racer retains some outside resemblance featuring its street appropriate model, every component was modified to withstand the abuse this grueling occasion provides. Its 2568cc in-line six cylinder motor, with double turbo chargers produce an incredible 600 plus horsepower and 67kg/m torque. This tremendous energy is delivered on rear tires via a X-Trac built sequential six rate transmission. The four wheel double wishbone suspension system has nearly exactly the same construction as Nissan&39;s highly competitive GrC devices raced through the 1980&39;s. Front side and backside 18 inch tires are fitted with wide racing sticks, and ventilated disk brake system offer good stopping power.
The 1995 Le Mans occasion started on 17 June, with two GR-R&39;s one of the contenders. One GT-R had been sponsored by Clarion, a Japanese car sound maker. It went in fifth destination for some time, but regrettable transmission difficulty forced it to retire from battle; however, its promising performance revealed that the NISMO GT-R LM are a critical contender in years to come.
