Towards Ferrari F50
The Ferrari F50 made its first appearance at Geneva engine Show in March of 1995, to commemorate Ferrari&39;s 50th Anniversary. The devices dynamically and elegantly curved body cowling was created by Pininfarina. This Ferrari&39;s very rigid center monocoque part was fabricated from high-tech carbon fiber composites. The engine/gearbox device is securely bolted for this monocoque and works as a load-carrying element, in the same way in the Ferrari F1 rushing devices. The 4.7 liter V-12 cylinder motor makes use of five valves per cylinder and yields a fantastic 520 horsepower at 8,500rpm. The F50&39;s double wishbone suspension system is connected to the electronically controlled shock absorbers via push rods, to give optimum road holding performance. Packed with Ferrari&39;s state-of-the-art automotive technology, gleaned from their Formula-One sporting expertise, the F50 ended up being created become a &39;street-legal racing machine&39;.
