About the Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM 2000 Team Original-Teile:

• Of eight Mercedes-Benz CLK utilized by four teams going into the 2000 German Touring vehicle Masters (DTM), Team Original-Teile had the absolute most unique color. The paint work on human body associated with the vehicle is a reproduction of real design marked on a Mercedes automobile part&39;s box. Markings on car&39;s front side depict it tearing out of a package once the engine for the car rips through wrapping. Tamiya is proud to present a 1/24 scale model reproduction of this powerful machine. The rushing version of the Mercedes-Benz CLK maintained exactly the same image whilst the 2-door coupe production version, but its "guts" had been purely for racing. Featuring its 4 litter V8 motor this machine took Team Original-Teile 2000 toward top ranks of the DTM. Driver Peter Dumbreck received much attention as he grabbed 2nd destination for the 7th and 8th races at Sachsenring.
