Styled by Marcello Gandini regarding the Bertone design studio, the Lamborghini Countach is one of the many widely-recognized super automobiles on the planet. It&39;s low wedge-shaped human body styling prompted the style of many super automobiles after it and its trademark upward-tilting door design is still well-accepted today. The first manufacturing Countachs were loaded with a mid-mounted longitudinalV12 engine with 4 liter displacement, thus the LP400 designation. Unsatisfied using the stock engine, Canadian industrial magnate Walter Wolf had a Countach customized to their specs with an even more effective 5 liter V12 motor.
