This 1/35 scale model of the Sherman VC Firefly had been originally released by japan model manufacturer known as Asuka Model (previously referred to as Tasca Model) in 2008. Now, it is packed along with Tamiya-made numbers within exciting new item!

The Sherman VC Firefly was a variation for the veteran U.S. Sherman M4A4 tank, operated during WWII by the British Army and which saw the automobile fitted with a 17-pounder gun. Around 2,000 Sherman Fireflies were manufactured; it played a substantial part in Allied countertop at the end of WWII conflict. 2014 marks the 70th anniversary of D-Day operations together with release of the VC Firefly is a good addition to your Tamiya stable of WWII model kits.
