1/700 Japanese Destroyer Hatsuyuki
This is an assembly kit associated with the Hatsuyuki, the third ship associated with Fubuki-class of "Special Type" destroyers. Although a revolutionary design, it had been additionally plagued by a poor hull, a well known fact demonstrated when the Hatsuyuki&39;s bow had been shorn off by the force of waves during a typhoon in 1935. This incident led japan Navy to give its destroyers strengthening modifications. The Hatsuyuki went on to see action at the Battle of Malaya and Battld of Sunda Strait, and this model illustrates the ship featuring its additional AA armament.
