Following present release of the British Battle Cruiser Repulse, Tamiya now adds the Royal Australian Navy destroyer HMAS Vampire toward Waterline Series. This ship had been with all the Repulse and Prince of Wales if they were sunk at the Battle of Malaya

Concerning the HMAS Vampire Designed and built in Britain during WWI, the Vampire first served utilizing the British Royal Navy before being utilized in the Royal Australian Navy in 1933. After serving in the Mediterranean,she joined up with the British Navy&39;s Force Z at Singapore, and together with the Prince of Wales,Repulse, and 3 other destroyers, sortied on December 8, 1941. The vessels had been spotted, as well as in the ensuing assault by Japanese planes the Prince of Wales and Repulse had been sunk, using the destroyers left to save survivors.
