Towards M4 Sherman Early Manufacturing With approximately 50,000 devices produced during WWII, the U.S. Army?s series of M4 Sherman tanks were among the driving forces behind Allied triumph. Designed for effective massproduction and including space for future modifications, the M4 series boasted superior ground performance with excellent dependability.
