A Battlefield Monster
Following the creation for the KV-1 heavy tank, the Soviets produced a variation model armed with a short-barreled 152mm howitzer mounted in an impressively big turret. The so-called KV-2 hefty attack tank was intended to target bunkers along with other enemy strong points after classes learned in war with Finland, but had been deployed to blunt the German advance into Russia. It&39;s thick armor was invulnerable to every thing except the 88mm anti-aircraft gun, leading German soldiers to provide it the nickname "monster."
