The Type 97 medium tank had been an important tank employed by japan army during WWII. It showcased the lowest silhouette and was armed with a 57mm main gun and two 7.7mm device firearms. As it was initially developed for infantry support, it was inadequate for anti-tank roles and thus received upgrades during its manufacturing. This belated variation showcased an even more powerful 47mm gun mounted in a larger turret and a greater motor.
