After WWI, Germany pushed ahead using the growth of battle tanks under a veil of privacy. The Panzerkampfwagen II used the Panzerkampfwagen I&39;s hull and arrived armed with a 2cm main weapon. Mass manufacturing started in 1937 and differing improvements including a fresh suspension system ended up being made. Roughly 1088 Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf.A-C tanks were manufactured up until April 1940. The Panzerkampfwagen II led the shock assault on Poland and smashed their means throughout European countries. These were later replaced by better frontline tanks but had been successfully utilized in reconnaissance missions before the end associated with the war.
