Britain supplied the Soviet Union with increased than 1,000 Matildas in auspices associated with the "Lend-Lease" policy during WWII. Sporting a 2-pounder gun and armor around 78mm on front side, and providing a top speed of 24km/h, the Red Army deployed it with an infantry help brief. Later Red Army Matildas were given updated songs and bogie skids rather than return rollers to assist them deal with the punishing conditions.
