The Junkers Ju87 Stuka plunge bomber was developed in 1934 and scenes of them scuba diving down on their targets became synonymous using the German Blitzkrieg. Of the many variations of produced, the Ju87 B had been the mainstay regarding the Lufwaffe in early years of WWII.
