Released in July 1986, regarding the 10th anniversary of Tamiya’s first RC, the Bigwig had been a landmark in development of Tamiya RC racing automobiles and stays extremely prized as a collectors’ car for the unique design. This is 1st Tamiya vehicle with a human body penned by an outside designer: Japanese full size race automobile designer and team owner Takuya Yura. This re-release variation is based closely upon the first, with tweaks to create it up to date. This unique automobile featured a rack and pinion steering system and distinctive Moon Dish tires.
