The U.S. Navy carrier-based fighter, the Corsair A-7, made its maiden flight in 1965. 2 yrs later, the A-7A, which was stationed in the carrier USS Ranger, engaged for action inside Vietnam War. Other A-7 models produced range from the B, C, E, and D, seeing the A-7 continue to serve until the early 1990&39;s.
