Walk the Line This delightful kit constructs a model snail which follows its way leisurely along a black line drawn on a white paper surface, even while waving its eyes adorably back and forth. Once the snail discovers a black line, its LED lights up green. It utilizes an infra-red Light-emitting Diode and phototransistor to regulate the twin motors. The performance associated with model could be modified using the speed switch (low or high) and sensor adjustment dial. Sensor, circuit board and engines come pre-wired. The kit requires screw accessory and some simple wiring to accomplish.
How it Works whenever sensor is positioned over a black line, the right engine techniques into action, propelling the snail forwards also to the left. When the sensor moves off of the line, the right engine stops as well as the left motor starts up, going the snail forwards and also to the right. When it discovers the line again the process repeats, utilizing the snail moving its method forwards in this way.
*Please keep in mind that the line must be at the very least 3mm wide, and any turns in excess of 8cm radius.
