In event of this 30th year anniversary of Buggy Champ, which began the "Buggy Boom" whenever first released in 1979, 2009 saw Tamiya re-release it as an improved variation. This variation kept true towards fundamental layout of this original and included many new modern improvements. Tamiya is currently proud to produce a restricted Edition version of the Professional Built Buggy Champ.
