Trumpeter 01593 - 1/35 Russian BTR-70 APC in Afghanistan 小號手  [TP01593]

BTR-80 8 x 8 Armoured Personnel Carrier is designed to carry workers on the battlefield and supply close fire help. It may also perform reconnaissance, combat help and patrol missions. It joined solution with the Russian Army in the late 1980s and has now since been utilized in many armed forces disputes, including UN peacekeeping operations. The vehicle is still in production and is operating because of the Russian Army and many other nations.
BTR-80 is more advanced than BTR-60/70 with a larger chassis, highangle-of- fire turret, and much more powerful diesel motor (vs gasoline). Although the armament is exact same as BTR-60 and BTR-70, excluding added smoke grenade dispensers on straight back of turret, the conical turret is enhanced and gun can elevate greater. The front and side shooting ports have now been greatly enhanced (square/inset, angled somewhat ahead). Along side it entrance dilemmas found in BTR-60 & BTR-70 had been fixed on BTR-80,the entry brand new composed of a two component home (upper and lower parts) which available outwards andis now big sufficient to load/unload cargo.
