the Flak 37 had been exactly like the Flak 36. The Flak 37 became the conventional defence tool against low flying aircraft and was used in 9 – 12 weapon batteries. They certainly were also fitted on trains, vessels, U-boats, Flak towers and a number of self propelled mounts. In August 1944, the Luftwaffe alone had 4211 firearms in service.
