Trumpeter 05336 - 1/350 HMS Abercrombie Monitor 小號手  [TP05336]

ABERCROMBIE was an upgraded version of elder sibling ship ROBERTS. The initial primary gun turret had been extra from FURIOUS, fitted with two 15 inch weapons type Mark I/N. Other improvements included bigger liveable space, more artillery reserve and increased engine room deck thickness. ABERCROMBIE had been also built with four twin 102mm 45 calibre Mk V dual rapid-fire weapons, sixteen Uk 40mm 2-pounder "pom-pom" cannon and twenty US 20mm Oerlikon firearms.
In 1943 ABERCROMBIE had been awarded Battle Honours for promotions into the Mediterranean at SicilyandSalerno. Post war ABERCROMBIE was moored in the River Medway for several years as an accommodation ship and was offered for scrap in 1954.
