CNC-machined engine mount created from premium Swiss 7075 T6 features a brand new additional opening for inline chassis flex modification.
The motor mount is the main remaining layshaft bulkhead, eliminating unwanted tweak. The engine mount is linked to the chassis by 2 screws under the layshaft, and also the mounting system is in front of the motor. The motor mount system is composed of a motor mount dish attached to the engine mount by a button-head screw (that is more tweak-free compared to past countersunk screw). The engine mount dish is attached to the framework with an M3 nut; an additional countersunk screw may be put in front of the nut if more reinforcement becomes necessary. The nut could be removed and 1 of 2 new holes can be used for more flex modification options.
The layshaft an element of the engine mount bulkhead enables the removal of front or back (or both) screws which link the most effective deck, since the bearing is fixed to your layshaft bulkhead and doesn't go. This improves the flex adjustability for the car to better suit various track conditions.
