The ECS BB (Ball-Bearing) driveshafts offer a substantial performance gain within the standard blade-type driveshafts. The friction between the driveshaft and outdrive is paid down, which helps give a smoother handling feel, particularly on fast way modifications, like chicanes. The paid down friction really helps to increase cornering rates. We recommend the shorter 58mm shafts for smaller, more technical songs, in which more initial steering will become necessary. Drive shafts are exclusively manufactured from unique world-renowned, top-secret, self-developed HUDY Spring metal. Upkeep of the bearing driveshafts is necessary, but simple. Build them while you would your normal ECS driveshafts, however with the following addition; we suggest utilizing the Hudy Joint Grease (106213) between the small bearings while the outdrives, for a prolonged life associated with the components.
