Redesigned RX8 framework accommodates new aluminum bulkheads and suspension holders. The framework has enhanced performance in corners and provides great stability. Overall, the chassis is extremely slim to increase chassis flex and generate more traction and steering. The narrow chassis also prevents framework contact in corners helping to eliminate the feel associated with vehicle stopping in mid-corner. This lightweight framework is CNC-machined from 5mm premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum and it is strategically machined in low-stress areas to make it because light as possible without affecting power or rigidity.
