The all-new, totally redesigned XB8 chassis has improved weight stability to boost the cars managing. The front is narrower to improve steering, the trunk is wider to improve stability, therefore the general size is 4mm shorter with weight balance relocated forward (including motor, radio package, gas tank, and center diff).
The chassis is CNC-machined from 3mm top-notch Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, strategically machined in low-stress areas, then anodized making it because light possible without impacting strength or rigidity.
