The framework works together with the semi-split bulkheads and suspension system holders. The chassis is an important component that plays a role in the XT8E’s handling faculties. The framework measurements and flex characteristics are chosen for the best mixture of stability, traction and steering. The framework is machined for additional clearance under the bulkheads to accommodate the diff height adjustment feature. The framework is CNC-machined from 3mm top-notch Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum; strategically machined in low-stress areas then anodized to make it as light as you can without affecting strength or rigidity.
