The latest 38T front side diff top gear for the XB8 is CNC-machined from hardened HUDY steel developed particularly for gears, enabling ultra-true, vibration-free running. All sides are chamfered for smooth engagement. The "38" sign is laser-engraved for simple recognition, along with the bearing dimensions are ground for maximum precision. By using this gear inside front diff of the XB8 alters kit ratio from 3.333 (with 40T initial gear) to 3.167. This will make the automobile simpler to drive, specially in bumpy condition, and improves on-power stability. The latest 38T front diff crown gear improves traction and reduces sliding.
