43-tooth large bevel gear for center differential is machined from special HUDY steel material that has been specifically developed for gear-type services and products, additionally hardened and precision ground to match the tightest threshold requirements for perfect match the diff outdrives. The gears are independently machined on a precision German gear machine and each gear is independently tested, examined, and run in. The diff gear will be laser etched with "Active 43T" for simple and immediate recognition.
